Just picked her up! I wouldn't mind putting on 17" grey or matte grey rims and tires. Does Toyota sell TRD rims for the Prius? If not I need some options on what rim manufacturer I should look at.
Maybe you should let the paint dry on the car before modifying it....just saying There's a person selling some gun metal lexus ct200h rims on the private sales section. Probably would look good on there
I found this pic online. Wow that looks great. The owner put on 17" Niche Targa M129 - Anthracite rims and 17" Toyo Versado Eco 215/45/17 tires. My only concern is 17 inch tires and rims did not come stock on this vehicle so how would that affect performance? That picture shows a Prius Four which came stock with 17 inch tires and rims. 17 inch tires and wheels will handle better at the expense of ride and MPG. The main reason for larger wheels is cosmetic.
How should I price out my oem rims and tiresome not putting them up for sale? Any other special modifications needed when going to 17's? I would probably have Discount Tire do it.
