I'm sure you seen this members Prius Four. Ultimately that is what I would like to do with my rims and tires. That looks SHARP. Not sure about the body side molding though. I'm starting to like it. How did he paint his roof black?
After having the 17's on the Persona and the 15's on the Gen4 Two I DEFINITELY want the 17's on here. I just ordered the: Niche Targa M129 - Anthracite rims 17" Toyo Versado Eco 215/45/17 tires The same setup this member has. That looks KILLER!!! I am still debating whether or not to paint or wrap the roof black and if I should get the body molding or not. I love the way his looks.
Looks cool, but I don't see too many people who have it on here? Plus I live in WI so how will the wrap hold up over time. Salt, snow and ice.
Part of the attraction is the exclusivity. I have been assured that the vinyl holds up very well. And it protects the painted surface underneath.
I can't make out what this member did, but I love it. Is it a matte or shiny wrap? I would shiny so it blends with the glass. What about fading over time?
I had my Personas (don't own it anymore though) roof wrapped in gloss black (I would get asked all the time about my "glass roof" lol!!). I normally took it through a drive thru type car wash weekly and it looked as good as new after close to a year.. so wrapping is the cheaper option that looks great and is reversible if you choose. or get it permanently painted if you want... Here is my Old Persona w/ wrapped roof..
That on e may be painted. Shiny us the way to go. No worries about fading with good quality vinyl. And washes just like your painted surfaces. No extra care required. I had my antenna wrapped too.
Wow! I like!! what are those diffuser looking things between the hatch and rear window? They look awesome.. Oh and btw I used to use tire shine (usually the foaming stuff) and a microfiber towel to clean and make my wrapped roof shiny
I had a top-rated shop install mine. I asked for 3M, and they would have used it but said they had "orange peel" issues with 3M. So I used what they recommended. I believe it was Avery Dennison.
