How to know if my Prius is equipped with PCS ?

    Hell all,

    How could i know if my prius is equipped with the PCS ? could i check this option using the VIN code?

    On Gen3, it's available on the top line Prius V with ATP. Not available for Prius II thru IV

    PCS was also packaged with LKA and DRCC so if you have the radar cruise control distance button and LKA on/off button on the steering wheel (right side vertical spoke. They're silver buttons), you have PCS.

    Lastly, there's a PCS OFF button underneath the steering wheel, way down, almost by the the brake pedal.

    There's a funny video on youtube of a couple guys testing the PCS system.....after you watch it, you won't want it. LOL

    Mine has been off since new. Due to the warning in the owners manual. Maybe I shouldn't have read the manual. ;)

    As Tideland said, if you have "Dynamic Radar Cruise Control" you probably have PCS. It needs the radar unit to work.
