My 2004 Prius with 280,000 miles has been diagnosed with a high voltage leak... Is there anything the "I" can do about it?
Thanks, I'm checking connections... Also, I see some corrosion on some of the battery terminals for the individual battery packs, thought I would clean that off as well... This car has been sitting for about a year, with everything disconnected, will the HV battery hold a charge for a year? If not how does one charge it?
If this is a 2004 battery pack that's been sitting for a year, chances are it has lots of modules that have failed. For sure it's out of balance. Best way is to get a grid charger and charge and balance the pack back up......after replacing all the failed modules.
