local newspaper here reports that according to Mitsubishi the next gen Outlander PHEV will have ~120 km EV (NEDC score). The car will be on display at coming Paris show.

Is there a link? I am only finding the 12kwh battery model. The Prime has 8kwh for 35km. 12kwh would be about 50km.
No details given other than saying it will have 3 electric motors (one driving the front wheels and one for each rear wheel). The Prime btw will have 8.8 kWh battery.
The ~50km EV for the current Outlander is on NEDC (European drive cycle). The estimate for the gen2 Prius PHV (Prime) is 50km on the same cycle. The prime is much more efficient in EV.
Indeed. On the New European Drive Cycle: Current Outlander score: 53 km with 12 kWh size battery. Prius PHV gen 2: 50 km (not confirmed yet) with 8.8 kWh size battery.
