Hi guys. I want to replace the ugly factory antenna with a mast-type. I came across this cheapie Functional Am FM Silver Shark Fin Antenna Fits 2001 2017 Toyota Prius | eBay on ebay. It is already painted to match my car. Any thoughts?
a lot of folks use the shark fins. they seem to like them, and I've never heard anyone say it didn't give acceptable reception.
But this one is super cheap. Has anyone bought from this seller yet? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Remember that the Prius has an amplified antenna. If you replace it with a cheapie antenna it probably won't have that amp for better reception.
Apparently this one has dual circuit, so I'm hoping the reception will be even better. We will see after I put it in.
