Hey Everyone, 2 weeks ago my 2007 came up with "Problem" and died on the way home. I pulled over and shut it down and got it back home, charged the battery and everything was good for a day. Went and got a battery and life was good for about a week and the "problem came back again. I got a Bosch 1200 and the codes I got were P0A93 (confirmed) C1377 and C1241.Is this something that is "covered under the warranty? I currently have 97,8xx miles on it. What do you suggest? If you have already done the recall, going to the dealer will run you about $500 to fix this problem. They will run a diagnosis before the replacement. But it's your inverter pump that has failed.
Yup. Tell them P0A93. Dealership will confirm this themselves. If the extended warranty recall has never been performed, then, the part will be replaced free. If your car had the warranty recall performed, NO free repair. Do as Post #2 say to see if your vehicle had the recall performed. Have the car towed to the dealership or drive a VERY short distance. Long distance drive risks the inverter overheating and failing, causing damage, NOT covered by warranty, to be repaired.
My 2005 currently is waiting for a inverter pump recall replacement. They are out of stock and I have been offered a loaner car for the past month. Apparently the recall pump has a very specific part number, they can't just install one from their parts department. Strange.
