I know. What it should say is: "12 AWG extension cord or larger either with an in-line GFCI, plugged into a GFCI outlet or plugged into an outlet fed by a GFCI or AFCI breaker".
It also needs to state the larger AWG is needed when the cord length is over a certain limit. Yet this would still not be enough to protect Toyota from a lawsuit over a burnt down house.
Asked my salesman to see if the ETA has changed for my Prime Plus here in the East Coast in South Carolina. He told me the ETA is still the same (most likely a December delivery) and that the ETA will not be updated until the Prime boards the boat in Japan. He also said that the dealership (a fair sized local dealership) will not have any Primes on the lot. Ever. This I found odd since Toyota said they will sell in all 50 states but it seems less than easy to obtain one in the Southeast where they have not even been allocated by the regional distributor yet, and like my dealership potentially never. None the less in my browsing I don't think I've seen any dealerships in the southeast that seem like they will get any primes on the lot. Anyone down over here keep it in mind that you will likely need to order one, at least for now...
SET and GST regions are separate from TMS IIRC so they have semi-autonomy. (Someone else with more knowledge on this and the background history can fill in the details or correct me).
My sales guy said my Prime left Jax yesterday enroute to dealer. Get in touch with Perry Kinney at Marietta Toyota and he can navigate the byzantine path of Southeast Toyota Distributors, or find a dealer who will be getting one.
Again, strange way to run a business when the customers have to be the ones doing the leg work to get the car they want.
Wow, that's fast, I haven't even gotten my license plate number yet, which I have to have in order to mail in the application. (And I paid cash)
Does anyone have this measurement? I've ordered a Prime and I'm looking to see if my tool case and emergency blankets will fit in there or not. If not, I need to buy replacements.
Just drove 2 hours to Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda MD. Bought a Premium metallic gray with moonstone interior from Joel Venga. Very easy process over email with Joel. I believe they have 5/7 left, unless they sold another after I left at 2pm. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
If I'm understanding correctly, it's 11 inches, but the back mat is flexible rubber you could get another 7-8 if you took the little corner cover piece out. 3" deep and about 27" wide. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Thanks for posting a photo of the blue! Your photo looks nice and blue, where other photos I've seen look more teal. Which do you think it is, when you look at? Blue or teal?
It's 4:00 AM and almost all of Toyota Dealers websites are down coast to coast and SET too. Never seen this before. I believe they are adding Prime to the searchable inventory and updating and standardizing its product information. We will see... We’re sorry. Our site is temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your patience. We’re working hard to fix the problem and will be back online soon! In the meantime, you can contact DARCARS Toyota Silver Spring at 888-841-9679 or email us at [email protected]. You can also stop by our dealership at 12210 Cherry Hill Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20904.
