Will techstream version 8 show speed sensor code? Dealer said they saw the code and I haven't been able to Get It to come up. If it's gone they Will replace my brake actuator. If not they won't replace. I don't want to bring it in again if the speed sensor code is still there. All I get in techstream is code for actuator and a.c. code for sensor in shade.
It should do, any version greater than 3 or 4 should be fully Gen II Prius aware. If you or the dealer have cleared the codes, either via Techstream or disconnecting the 12 V battery, and the speed sensor code has not come back, then it is likely not the problem. If it was, the code would have come back pretty quick, along with a ABS/VSC dash light. If you don't see the code and there are no lights on the dash, then there are no current codes present.
There are definately lights on the dash. Been for two weeks but I just get c1391 mostly. I tried slamming on my brakes to see if I could Get the speed sensor code but still doesn't show. It should show on health check right?
