Cargo Bars - Prius Prime - DC Metro Area

    I have a set of Cargo Bars that came with the Prius Prime I just bought. They've never been mounted and they are in their original box. Would love to get rid of them to someone in the DC metro area that has a use for them.

    They came with mine and I had to tell the dealer to put them on when I picked them up. I paid for them, put the damn things on. They do make a lot of noise at highway speeds and I would assume cut down on fuel efficiency (but I've never calculated them). BUT I don't drive the car my wife does and she loves the look of them. So obviously they stayed on ;-)

    Unfortunately I have no need for them at all. And since they're $300 I really don't want to put them in the trash.

    If only I was in the DC area I would make a deal with you to take them. We are looking to order some in the next couple weeks.

    If you are thinking of trashing them, I would gladly pay you to ship them plus a reasonable amount in addition. If you don't find someone in the DC area anyway. You can PM me if you have an interest in discussing it.

    We have some nice ones (SARIS) for our Gen2, but I always thought Toyota should supply as option.
    Nice that they supplied these...are they easy on/off?
