Toyota say we need to change the inverter. I read somewhere that if the dashboard says ready the inverter is not bad the water pump is. Also the inverter coolant is not moving at all, could it be just a bad pump? Or Will the pump not work unless the inverter is working? Also will any Gen 3 inverter fit the 2010 or does each year have its own?
I don't know, got the car second hand. We assumed Toyota would tell us if it was part of the recall when we took it in for a scan.
sometimes they do. it might be worth plugging the vin into the owners website. it will show open recalls, as well as any service done.
Hi Did you manage to fix the above issue.. my prius alpha 2012 has the same codes and it displays Ready but only allows to drive to a certain speed. Thanks
Everybody wants a way to read tea leaves. The car will be happy to give you trouble codes saying what's what.
