Rather disappointed and a bit mystified to find that this option is absent from the Charging menu on my Brand new top of the range 2017 Euro Excel model. Can still use the key fob for remote climate control, but obviously that's not automatic. Will ask Toyota UK about this, but any thoughts appreciated from PCers. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Note that your charging schedule that you're setting has to be in the "Departure" mode and not "Start". IOW, you're setting the time you wish to depart and have the battery fully charged, rather than setting the time begin charging. On the 4" MID, see Step 8
Thanks Tideland. Yes I have set Departure and not start time. Its not user error sadly. It just doesn t have this feature. Yes I did. It is clear that not all versions have this. It says "if equipped". What I don't understand is why. We have remote climate on the key fob, so all that is missing is a software option to switch it on automatically.
