"Mirroring" cell phone Display on Nav Screen

    I wouldn't describe it like that, but it is not especially sharp. Certainly a step down from the phone's screen.
    Mine was BeatSonic factory installed. I think when they saw the result on the screen they were mildly disappointed. But for my purposes (MLB baseball) I am quite satisfied.

    Was wondering the same thing if any Cell phones on the market have the mirroring function/display phone functions built in for the Prius.

    Android has features built in for screen mirroring. But the Prius does not have the wherewithal to use it. It's the car that's the issue in this.

    The BeatSonic hack was installed by the techs at BeatSonic. I provided my car to them as an opportunity to "fit-check" the installation. (So I received a discounted price.) The app works flawlessly.

    My Samsung S7 has mirror link with CarmodeStub which is supposed to mirror the phone on the display. I can't get it to work at all. Any suggestions??

    No experience of this but it's coveted on p241 of the Euro Nav Manual, .nb not the car manual.

    Googled and found out it had been a problem for some since S5 and S6. It's too confusing to cut and paste here, so try for yourself and see if there's anything there for you.

    I'm looking to get this screen mirroring kit a few months after I pay off the car (can't afford both at 22 with my budget lol)
    Do you have a copy of the installation instructions? I'd like to know how difficult it is to install before buying it just in case.

    hey @krmcg

    So you're using Beatsonic to mirror your iphone via a wire? Do you have iPhone?
    If so, have you considered putting in the AppleTV and connect to your AppleTV wirelessly via your phone and do your mirror/carplay wirelessly that way? Just curious...

    To quote some of the people on this site......."You may be doing something illegal,dangerous and immoral.....so do not do it."
    Now with that out of the way.....I hear that a lot of folks are doing the link the phone to the screen mod. It seems to be getting better with less problems as time goes on.
