I just want the rear bumps to absorb better in the back and not be so bumpy....And I suspect within 30 or 40k miles I will sell this car (currently has 183K!!).
Hmmm....called the Toyota dealership nearest to me and they are $86 each before tax...so about $180 total.

I think the one OP linked is strut and spring assembly rear set. Camelback Toyota is just the strut alone.
FYI, Monroe and Gabriel shocks are the worst of the worst in the automotive industry. Best you don't buy any of those brands or you'll end up doing the work over again (under warranty of course)
Monroe makes the worst Chinese crap you will ever see. It's a lot of work to do the suspension. Buy oem online it will fit it will work And the car will drive and feel like it was designed. Don't forget the steering bearing for the front.
Put a yellow Optima battery ($160 on Amazon) in it except I paid $180 @ PepBoys. Needed it today. So as I was saying got this Prius from dealer auction. While it was still in the parking lot of auction (before running through auction block) I went and looked at it....Battery was dead and I couldn't start it...So not surprised needed one. It would have the fading lights but still start....And then I drove it about an hour today...Came back out and tried to start it and was getting the "your transmission lock mechanism is abnormal...park on flat space and put parking brake on" message...Looked message up and on priuschat.com most responses point to bad 12V battery....plus I had all the symptoms of a bad 12V. Fixed problem and has a 3 year warranty and I doubt I will have it more than 1.5 years.... Also picked up some weather tech floor mats (complete set with trunk mat) for $50 used on Craigslist. Next just need to order car seat covers as my 2 year old is extremely messy.
