The first time I saw an i8, I spontaneously laughed. I am not one to care much about 'sheet metal art' but the side, channels in the i8 are goofy: Yes, your hand can fit in that channel between the hatch and rear lights. I would have to see wind tunnel data to be convinced it makes sense. But if you left the car parked outside for a week or two in the Spring, you'd probably find a bird nest in the channel.
