I've researched all over the net and on this site, but I'm not getting the option to turn this on in any of the settings menus. Someone posted a detailed photo of where it should be, but mine just has a blank spot there at the moment. Is it something that takes time to show up? I've really only driven it to work one time, and around town, but not any consistent pattern yet. I'm in Southern California and have the Advanced model, so i assume it's standard here.
Thanks Lee, but like I said, both those lines are blank at the moment. There's no option to show them that I'm aware of.
Sorry, but I've given up on factory-installed GPS systems, so I haven't used them on my Prime Advanced or my 2012 PIP. I did check this unfamiliar territory on my Prime, in Anaheim, and it seems to be giving me all the options you're describing as unavailable on your Advanced. I'm able to display overlay of selected POI's etc. following instructions posted by the other Post replyer, Lee. . Alex, after I edited some of the choices offered in the Map Information area, the system rebooted. Could there be an instability here, app problem? My changes were registered and system seems fine since reboot. Henri
is there a way to reboot the system without losing data? ie presets and such? Okay, i figured it out! Seems my car crossed the international dateline, LOL. They had set the date one day ahead. I kept wondering why the setting for next scheduled charge was always a day off. It wasn't a big deal because I was using the charge now setting. Anyway, as soon as I fixed the date the settings displayed like Lee showed me in the manual. Thanks guys.
Sorry Alex, Google didn't help with trying to find out how to force the reboot (no data loss) you asked about. Have you tried the Toyota Corporate folks; I've found them to be very helpful. (800) 331-4331. Good luck! .
I was also not able to see the Predictive Efficient Drive option while the car was in accessory mode - when I switched to Ready (but still in park) the option showed up.
Yeah, I tried that too just in case. It was just the date was wrong in the car. As soon as I fixed it then it appeared.
