So that's 13,804 out of 21,410 USA total EV = 65% of USA EV being sold in CA 1Q2017..a big jump from typical 48% in CA. Usually that trend moderates a bit during the calendar year. (Hill beat me to the CNCDA quarterly report numbers this month)
In the country the 4th quarter is the biggest seller, as this is close to the time tax credits can be used. In california things get a little more levelized, with Tesla shipping mainly to California in march to boost its first quarter shipments. Model 3's in 3017 will probably only be shipped in California. I would think the bolt also would primarily go to california in Q1 of this year.
That is the highest EV % take rate on record. When the real buying months come up we will see if it's just a fluke
nice start for the bolt, good on gm. i hope the continue with larger models, and optional battery sizes. i think that would help make a big jump in sales.
