This thread is inspired by the comment in the A/C thread about programming your key fob to open the windows. I'll need to stop by the dealer soon. What other options have you found useful?
#1 - the reverse beep beep beep i have the Carista OBD and append also changed: . blinker to 5 when touching it . open all windows when pushing/holding the unlock button on the key fob
If you just touch the turn signal and let go the default is that they will flash three times. I had mine changes to 5 as well.
Aha! Silly me, I didn't read the instructions on using the turn signal - figured that was one thing I knew how to operate. Wrong!
When you hold the lock button, all the windows go down and the sunroof opens. To bring them back up, you turn the key in the door handle left and right to make them go down/up. So you don't have to get in the car. I used Carista
There's a cheap looking key in the fob you can pull out. I know... weird. Who needs a key? I admit that I've only used this key for testing this feature haha.
Thanks for reminding me. Just programmed the key to raise them up. I like not having to turn on the car to do it.
