I have to say, I really like the look of the prime, and was wondering if anyone else has thought about doing a swap. Everything would fit right?
I doubt it because the front end would be really hard to swap with lights and all (and expensive). Plus, do you really want to make your car into a "rebadge" like a Chrysler product?
The length is just due to the bumper design (1" in the front, 3" in the back). Both front and rear bumpers will pose issues and I doubt they're compatible. The Prius has a swept back headlight design with a squarish turn signal area. The Prime has a horizontal set of lines. They're not compatible unless you intend to swap headlights which means also swapping the hood and the front fender.
I understood "front end" to include the hood and front fenders. Even though both are TNGA based you cannot be sure the bumper and body attachment points are compatible either. The replacement parts costs are already high. Unless a wrecked vehicle was used it would be cost prohibitive.
