    Do you kids notice how most of us, either prospects or owners of Prius Primes, are over 60?? What gives? Any ideas??! Hell I'm totally over the hill, pushing 68 in a couple of months! Is this why there's no advertising for the car: we're too old to see or hear commercials, har, har. Let me at those advertisers, if I can catch 'em, I'll beat 'em with my cane, or drool on 'em!!. Yewee, my cat says "Meow..yah!" It's possible of course that it's mostly old codgers who post about the cars, and most of the youngins are too busy havin' fun driving the damn things! Whatta ya think??!!

    I think two things....one, it might be that this message board format attracts older users. Honestly, this is a format that has been around for what seems like a hundred years. There may well be younger users who have no use for this technology. There are two fb groups for primes that seem to have a more diverse age grouping, but even fb is an older person's game at this point.
    Two, I think Toyota has missed the mark somewhat with it's advertising solely to younger buyers.

    I'm 22. I think the prius demographic consists of 20-something chicks and guys old enough that they aren't trying to prove their masculinity through vehicle choice.

    You know I'm having fun here, having stirred the pot!! I think Prime People are just that, people who know a good deal about cars, especially interesting AND reliable cars that are really fun to drive. A car that offers so much to explore will not soon be boring!
    You make that initial sizeable investment and then you're not hundred dollared to death with repairs like several other brands I'll dodge mentioning here, Har, har!. This little social corner, called PriusChat is a fun way to connect with like minds, regardless of age, who enjoy this new Prime Machine! My best to all of you!!
