my 2010 was egged, how do I remove the intake screen?

    egg dried on the intake screen on the passenger side. I don't want to wash it from the outside. I'm having trouble finding a video because everyone seems to think they need to make their own video about changing the cabin air filter.

    thanks, should I change the spark plugs when I'm in there?

    On edit: found it, looks easy. Getting the egg out will probably be the hardest part

    @NutzAboutBolts has an exhaustive step-by-step on removal of the pieces, in his spark plug change video. It's pinned at top of page in the 3rd gen maintenance sub-forum.

    Still, I'd try a strong wet/dry vacuum and some bristle brushes first, just to see how it goes. Or you've gone that route already, no good: it's seeped right through?

    Who did you make mad? Or was it just a random Prius hater... Sorry to hear that.
    (Out here, in crazy California, they egg your car AND slice your tires! Or shoot out your windows with a BB gun).

    I was jogging on the sidewalk last year in Palmdale, CA, near a busy 4 lane, and got hit by a thrown golf ball. I saw it just before it hit me in the stomach. Nice throw. Nice big welp. Some idiot displayed his handgun a few years ago when I was jogging. No Prius's were nearby.
