Interesting - it's never come up for me in 13 months. How often have you had it appear? And under what circumstances.

Possibly it's faulty.

Alan, I think your reminder comes up with a BBQ symbol when it's turned on.

 

Nope - I believe it's just an empty cup

 

The Prius should have personalized warning messages when you drive like you're sleepy (or drunk). Or the car could make some up.

 

If you mean turn it off after it has come on (it took me a while to figure this one out) press the back button (curved arrow) on the right hand side of the steering wheel

 

It comes on if you change lanes too often without signalling, setting off the LDA too frequently.

 

Thanks @kithmo - I never knew that. Like Alan, I've never seen it come on in anger.

 

I've only had it come on once, I was on a dual carriageway and without signalling, as there was no other traffic approaching behind me, I over took one slower moving car and pulled back in, then I did the same with the next car and the next, each time (6 in total), the LDA warning came up on the MFD as I crossed the white lines, then the coffee cup appeared on the MFD.

 

Perhaps it's telling you you're are cup-cake!
