looks like photo bucket still has issues so i can't upload pictures if anyone knows of a good hosting site that works please let me know cheers
I thought Photobucket went to paid and would not let you link to other sites for free. There is a Media section on PriusChat under your profile. I have not used it but @Bill the Engineer has used it.
I read about that. Pretty sure it was Photo Bucket. They broke a ton of on line stores. There was a hue and cry about it in the computer news.
Yeah. They broke @Bill the Engineer 's Firebrid thread. He uploaded 2 years of photos to PriusChat and started a new thread. Too much work to fix 2 years worth of posts. A Pontiac Firebird convertible with a Prius v drivetrain. Firebrid: The Prius v Powered Hybrid Convertible | PriusChat
Perhaps you could try linking the snaps directly as attachments. I i use that method with my android phone.
ok so looks like with the help of RCO i figured out how to get images up for you all to see. dont know if any of this helps but at least you can see the system that i am trying to install. thanks for the help people

Nice to be able to help someone for a change. I seem to have been rubbing some folks up the wrong way of late. No names, no pack drill!
Nothing appears out of the ordinary except the red cover on the bolts (tamper proofing?). I still think the internal amplifier is not working based on your input. If repair is not price friendly then you might be able to just get another radio and bolt your gps/ nav module to it. They sell the standard radios pretty cheap. Or sell the nav module, they tend to sell for more than the radio alone. I briefly researched adding that same module to a Toyota XB/Rumion (part is very similar across many different modes).
Trying to find a local repairer who will look at it first before saying they want xyz because in london people tend to want yo take your money and then take more to fix it lol. good idea on possibly separating it for the nav and finding another radio i didn't think of that and your right it would be a much cheaper way around it if fixing is expensive. i will send an update once i get someone to look at it cheers
