HELP! 2001 PATHFINDER DIFFERENT VALVE COVER COLOURATION

    I know this might not be posted on this forum, but I think it would help somehow.

    I saw a friend's Nissan Pathfinder 2001 some months ago, and when the valve covers were removed, I discovered that the valve train on either side of the banks had different colourations.

    What could have resulted into the difference?

    That's interesting. Looks very good though like he kept up on the oil changed. Almost looks like different types of metal used in the banks. I have no idea.

    And list the same post. They have seen everything with that motor.
    If I see it over there I won't answer lol.
