Just came across this "paid message" from Toyota on Mashable: Why driving an electric hybrid is actually way better and less stressful than you think I had no idea that Toyota is actually marketing these cars. Probably just somebody who had a couple of extra bucks left in the ad budget at the end of the year. Seriously... click on the link to Mashable and pass it along to anyone who might ask you about the car.
My understanding is that the marketing has been extremely targeted to a specific, younger demographic.
