I've been looking for the forms used to file for the PHEV fed tax credit and have been told by my electronic tax filer that they have expired as of 2016...and I can't find anything on the IRS site that varies from that position! Has anyone had more clarity....other that web sites that say its still available. I'm hoping that the IRS is just late in updating forms! Any feedback would be appreciated.
Form 8936. You don't give enough info to diagnose, but Turbotax Deluxe 2017 has the form. I know and have filled it out. All the help info for the form on the IRS.GOV site says the credit still exists.
