Heated mirrors not working. Light is on.

    My heated mirrors are no longer defogging or defrosting. When I press the “Front” defroster button the light comes on but no defrosting action. Since they both went out at the same time could it be a fuse? The rear defroster works fine. Any help,appreciated.

    The heated side mirrors only work when the rear defroster is energized, not the front...

    It that true on a 2010 (Gen 3) Prius too?
    I know your Gen 4 works that way.

    I didn't know that, thanks for the information. I have never really gave the heated mirrors a thought.

    Own both a 3 and 4. Both work same way. Heated mirrors on rear defrost button.
