Sorry Lads. I did a search for "GR" and actually looked at all the threads but didn't find anything. Anyway, I'll check the links you've posted. Thanks.
I just got a fifth anniversary email from my salesman for my 2013 Plug-in (see below), and my question to him was, can he get me a GR Prime? He's working on it, but I'm not holding my breath.
No worries. We're glad it's generating excitement. Like @Prodigyplace said, for now, it's only available in Japan but they are plans to expand outside of Japan. We don't know which countries but we hope the US and parts of the EU are included in those plans. Canada might not get it as our car buying population is tiny but we can always import from the US.
Toyota Canada is really hard to get interested in anything that smacks of possible excitement. I couldn't get them interested in this or even this
Yeah I'm not sure why. They had a Prius page for a while but that didn't generate too much discussion. They had Vinh Pham do the Rallye Monte Carlo des energies nouvelles and... I thought he also did a Targa Newfoundland in the PiP... but even then that didn't generate much discussion. That's too bad.
No I don't recall a thread on it. The last sports car talk was the one revealed at the LA Auto Show... GR HV Sports Concept?
Well, I guess most of the folks here aren't really into motor racing or super cars. I've been following Toyota's WEC Hybrid Racing Team since it got going back in 2012. I find the idea of the GR Super Sport being based on the TS050 very exciting, but we'll see where it goes.
