Location of spare tire 2007 Prius

    Hello!

    As some of you know, the Prius is my first car so and I don't know much about it. Where can I keep my spare tire? I've been keeping it in the trunk itself (what takes up a lot of space especially when buying groceries). I tried opening the "floor" of the truck, but the tire doesn't fit underneath it.

    Another quick question, what is the name of that thing that covers the trunk (see pic)? My car doesn't have one and I want to buy one.

    a donut spare will fit below the storage bin.

    Isn't there a place to stow the cargo cover? Perhaps they have one and do not realize it.

    I don't think mine will fit in then... It seems larger than a donut spare...

    Sounds like you have a full-sized spare (which most definitely will NOT fit in the space designed for a skinny donut spare!) :(

    you might search around for a salvage donut, possibly eBay or craigs list.
    you are lifting out the storage tub under the deck and putting it in the spare tire well?

    also, have you looked under there to make sure your privacy screen is not stowed in its holder?
