    LAA is the precursor to 5G for T-Mobile, and it isn't widely available. It's currently small-cell only, some major metros, but I don't know where else outside of NYC.

    BGR reported seeing it in NYC this morning. Insane speeds ranging something around 500 MB/sec down, 48 MB/sec up.

    T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray maintains T-Mobile will not do 5G fixed wireless like Dumb & Dumber, their tower upgrades will be software-ready to switch from LAA to 5G in 2019.

    Disclaimer: I am a happy T-Mobile customer and shareholder.

    Ok, mine is a candy bar. The first Nokia model shipped in the US to actually have the IR gear behind the little red window. I needed it for something I was reviewing at the time.

    Depending on how heavy a user you are, you may save by moving to the MVNO Ting. Although they cannot advertise it, they use T-Mobile for GSM.

    Their coverage here is poor so I needed to move to Verizon.

    I've got Binge On on my grandfathered Simple Choice plan.

    That's how I watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Viki, MLB TV (free again next T-Mobile Tuesday!). None of that counts against my data, and the data cap is up to 50GB, not that I ever use that much.

    If I switched, it would cost me more, because I'd lose a ton of bill credits.

    OK, not a good fit then. Their philosophy is to only bill for amounts used as much as possible.

    You've got to add the substantial tax of 7.75% (here in Orange County) on the entire $720, $55.80. Thatsa too much!! It's not like my S7 has 100,000 miles, or is lacking in techno toys; I'll bide my time, sir!
