    Hey, All. HEV newb here. Can someone point me in the direction of a breakdown of the specs of the 2008 and 2010 batteries? (2nd Gen / 3rd Gen). Thanks!

    2008 = 201v and 6.5Ah
    2010 = 201v and 6.5Ah

    Both assembled using 28 individual modules connected in series. Each module rated at 7.2v and 6.5Ah. Each module has 6 cells inside, 1.2v each, connected in series to provide the 7.2v

    What other info do you need?

    ECUs are at the opposite ends and the module count starts at the opposite end as a result.

    Nope. I take full responsibility for my typos. I think autocorrect should be banned. But I love predictive typing. :D

    But, I don't see a typo there. What am I missing? (I wonder if an Apple thinking face will display here. ) {edit to addd: Nope, it won't show. What a shame. LOL!}

    One more edit:
    I guess I could have said, "... and as a result, the module count starts at the opposite end." ;)

    Welcome to the world of hybrids. First thing, they typically come with two batteries: HV (High voltage, also called the hybrid or traction battery) and a conventional 12 volt lead acid. So to avoid confusion, you need to specify which one you're referring to.

    2nd Generation numbers modules from one end of the pack starting with 1. Gen 3 starts from the opposite end of the pack

    Logic dictates that Gen 4 starts from the middle?? :confused:
