I use the Chrome browser for my Chromebook and MacBook Air. Both run an up to date OS. For the past week or so, if I open PriusChat I start to hear some audio advert that usually stutters, my notebook starts to heat up, the fan turns on and it slows to a crawl. Only a reboot helps. Presumably some misbehaving advert. I lost patience today and installed Adblock. So far no more problems, and the website works long enough to post this thread ;-) I had turned off Adblock as a courtesy to the owners of PriusChat but the site is SO much better without the crud I've decided to keep it on and send off a contribution instead.
I am using Chrome and Explorer, when loading Priuschat, it's is really really slow, this is website issue right?
