Backup cameras in cars now mandatory in Canada

Lord knows we shouldn't expect people to use mirrors in this day and age. I've had my G2 for 6 months now and I still don't ever use the backup camera.

 

Mirrors cannot see around the back of your vehicle. The fisheye camera in back can.

Mirrors cannot see in the dark. The night-vision design of the camera in back can.

If you aren't using those safety features...

 

I'm not, and yet I haven't backed into a single thing.

 

Any chance that they'll make back-up cam heaters when snow/ice gets on them?

 

If headlights can have wipers, I'm sure this will come to some cars.
