Interested in darker emblems for my 2018 IV Touring. The black emblems would look great with the dark wheels of the appearance package. Anyone know where to purchase?
The front emblem covers the radar used by the car.It could affect cruise control & possibly collision avoidance
There is a set on ebay that would fit. You would have to ask if the front emblem would work with the radar unit or not.
I would think debadging would look better than blacked out emblems. That should be an option when buying though, what color emblems you want on the car.
I think u can try to make a thin sticker emblem on a website that makes these stickers and put it on the front emblem, it must be really thin not to interfere with the radar tho.
I removed mine (not the front Toyota emblem) and sprayed them black with plasticoat. As the saying goes - looks far from perfect, but looks perfect from afar... It wasn't very difficult and does not harm the emblems to strip the black off if you don't like it.
