Got my Prime Advanced yesterday afternoon - Blizzard Pearl with Black Interior. Coming from 3rd Gen (75K miles) which I just sold. Can't wait to try my normal commute from Dublin to Fremont, CA. So, although I am off for the day, with my wife and daughter we drove to work on my normal commute route to see see how EV would perform. We started around 8:30PM and proceeded to downtown Pleasanton, Sunol to 680 all the way to Fremont. Traffic was more than usual there compared to driving at 6AM, which is my normal commute time. We had the fan air turned on as well as headlights. Not too shabby, 23.3 miles with 28% remaining (see pix ) . We have Chargepoint at work so will try the homebound traffic, which is usually extremely heavy (680 Sunol Grade) to 580 when I return to work on Monday. Car is also quieter and handles better as compared with my 3rd Gen. Seats are comfortable and the tech package is outstanding. I am extremely happy.
Earlier we drove to Tracy, CA @ 95 degrees, with AC on and was able to get up to 30.5 miles. Again, very good I think considering long climb up to the Altamont Pass, but able to recover and charge bat back on the downhill.
I recently bought the exact car down to the colors. I am absolutely in love with it. I already have about 550 miles on the odometer and about 1 mile of that was on Hybrid mode since I was about a mile shy from the chargepoint at work due to a longer lunch one day. I love the Advanced tech package and all the extra sensors and alerts, I feel like I'm driving a computer (one of the reason I bought it). I added interior LED lights, removed the wheel covers, and added the OEM Toyota hub caps. I have a tint appointment setup for next Wednesday before my wife and I take a long weekend to the coast.
