For last week, within 1/2 miles of first starting, I can't change audio stations, can't go to home or apps. I have to pull off road, turn off engine and restart for those functions to work. All is fine the rest of the day, but next morning, same problem.
I would try pushing the volume button in for a few seconds - it reboots the audio system. No need to stop and turn anything off.
Failing that I'd pull the 12V fuse in the glove box fusebox to try a full reboot of the system. Might be worth checking your region Toyota website to see if there is a newer head unit software available.
