The car appears to be a Performance Plus model that comes with a spoiler, larger wheels, performance brakes and calipers, and other goodies. That model has been tested by independent sources as 0 - 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, starting price $69K. An acquaintance just picked his new model 3 and the tail light does not look anything like that - from any height. The car is a perfect build. His car does 0 -60 in 5.1 seconds and he paid $49K for his. It will snap your head back when punching it. His car is definitely quieter than my PIP ($40K sticker when new 6 years ago) on battery power. His car is luxurious on the inside but not in a buttons, gauges, contrasting stitching sort of way. It is quiet elegance. The User Interface screen is a thing of absolute beauty aesthetically, functionally, and ergonomically. Turning a corner at an intersection is remarkable, the car is perfectly balanced. Really, you should go test drive one, what do you have to lose? .
Sure you can! Look how minimalistic the 3 is, compared to the S, which has a giant hollowed out T - surrounding the inlaid chrome 'T' . .
i saw a couple driving that i thought were 3's, but wasn't positive. it takes a bit of learning, and easier when they are parked. put a license plate on the front and it gets more difficult.
There are a lot of 3s around here so I'm frequently behind them and have become obsessed with the silver in the corners of the tail lights, see pic below. It seems consistent so I guess is on purpose, but to me looks a bit strange. Seeing Hill's picture implies that the silver material must be something reflective that looks different from different angles, when you are at car level it looks like below.
if you are talking about the little puddle, that's all that's left after 2 dry days. check out the earlier pictures in post #35.
Isn’t posting pics easy? Nice backyard . Too bad you have to deal with more wet weather and ultimately a wet garage floor. There’s a solution for that though.
