2010 prius wont start. Everything is been replace new, even 201V battery pack, engine&transmission fluid replaced new, brake also new. Only radio is disconnected. Try to start, push button show amber light, it doesn't start the hybrid battery, it put into park, cant shift into neutral. all Lights are working. OBDII is not working, can't read the code, is has power voltage to the wire, but it didn't read any code. Any ideas, please help. thanks JNLS
you'll have to take it to a dealer, a shop with tech stream, or your own copy and a compatible laptop.
Did you replace the HV battery yourself? If you did, did you lock the orange interlock switch on the battery? You have to lock it into place or your car won't start
is the radio part of the security system? if its disconnected or missing the car might not start, have you tried to press lock then unlock on the fob with the doors closed to reset the security system?
The main question everyone seems to ask is how is the 12V battery? If it's low, the car won't start. If it sat for a while it could be low, since you said you couldn't read the codes, even though the lights light. Have you tried charging it?
none of these comment is help, it not about the battery. They all BRAND NEW. even back up charged from AC house hold. Nothing to do with the radio, the key work fine, I already tow it out to the Toyota dealership for more investigation. Thank for all comments.
Have you checked the switch on the brake? For the engine to start you have to depress the brake while pushing start button. And for the car to detect you've pushed the brake that switch has to be working properly. They can get out of adjustment I believe?
