Day/Night Scroll Wheel not sticking?

    2007 owner here. Does anyone find that the scroll wheel to switch the interior display to night/day mode simply won't keep the display at daytime brightness? At first I found that it seemed related to the inside temperature, but now my wheel barely ever keeps the display in daytime mode unless I physically keep pressure on the scroll wheel. Maybe there's some debris in there?

    If your headlights are turned ON at all times, the display would be affected during daylight. If your headlights are turned OFF, the scroll shouldn't have any effect during daylight

    maybe you need a new unit. check salvage or eBay.
