I got pissed at Facebook nagging me to "Update Profile." So I hired myself as 'Quality Assurance Manager' at 'Facebook Business' in 'Roach FL' in charge of defeating 'Update Profile.' Sure enough, the nagging prompt went away. Then I fired myself. Sad to say, the nagging prompt came back so I rehired myself a month earlier. Bob Wilson
Gee.... I haven't managed to get nagged one single time for about three years now! Of course....I cheat. Other family members monitor the FBs and provide regular intel briefings. I maintain familial and friendship ties through more conventional means. I have a 'shell' FB account so that I am statistically uninteresting, but haven't logged in much in the last 3 years.
Via Facebook, I helped my brother clean up disk space on his Mac. So he offered thanks of a smoothbore, 50 cal, flintlock kit another brother had given him. I reminded him of my birthday is in December. Hummmm, 50 cal ~= 28 gauge, short barrel shotgun and the Spring turkey season will soon be here. Bob Wilson

But is the 'cylinder' choke what you really want for turkeys? I'm still an FB refusenik until they go long enough without violating their side of the their own privacy policies, and their Consent Decree from the FTC. But FB keeps resetting those countdown timers frequently.
