Anyone attempt this recently, was trying to use the method below on my 2010 since the new wheels I got don't have sensors and was never a fan of that annoying light anyway.
Tried jumping as described below but had no success, any advise or am I doing something wrong?

Not sure on that jumper trick.
I have a trick I am using but requires you have 4 working TPMS units. Physical pressure causes a reading so I have one in my glove compartment in a binder clip.

Do you guys need that light out to pass an inspection? Otherwise, I would just ignore it. And check your tire pressures regularly, of course.

No, not for inspection it's to preserve what little sanity I have left and don't wanna tape over it knowing that little bastard is still on.
My new wheels don't have sensors btw.

Meh, I'm tough, look at the baleful glare of the TPMS warning all winter long, don't bat an eye.
