My CV boot started leaking and I think I caught it real early (like within days). I want to replace just the boot (split boot type) but can't find a source to buy (and guarantee the right size for my 2009). So far I've tried AdvAuto/Carquest, ORilley, Autozone, Napa, Rockauto, and CariD. I can't believe with all the Prius on the highway nobody makes one. If I have to go the regular onepiece boot route, I might as well just replace the whole axle shaft. Sorry for posting here (couldn't add to the 2nd gen forum since I'm a newbie)
yea... Everyone involved makes more money selling the boot with the axle shaft, and not just the boot... You could probably find one online though. Also a dealership might be willing to sell you one.
