Many older folks of both persuasions hate EVs My aunt and uncle who are very liberal are mostly anti environment and I had to argue with them why my EVs were just a good financial choice that might be beneficial to energy use. You don’t have to be green to save energy
yep. most of our family and friends are liberals. none drive green, most don't try to conserve anything, and many don't believe climate change is man made. the ones who do believe it is governments and policy responsibility, not personal. or at least, that's how they justify their personal actions
The unusual thing about the article that Bob posted is that the article says anti EV push is coming from automakers. Yet they quote & Link a NY Times article that i posted somewhere on PC not too long ago - which states that it's not the Auto industry - but rather the Koch brother oil industry .... That's the Auto industry say it's the oil folk that are going too far, says reams. After all, there's a ton more profit in selling a land barge than a high-tech small EV. .
maybe the auto mfgs have too much tied up in parts and supply lines to just cut bait, and then have a dee get elected and reverse everything again
It doesn't matter how things go in the USA, other countries like China will lead the way if we won't. The real Auto market is China. We can lead or we can follow.
