Can you provide Toyota OEM part numbers for the following please:

    2008 Prius Base 2nd Generation

    Engine Coolant Pump
    O- Ring for this pump
    Thermostat
    Inverter Pump

I am having trouble finding the O-ring and Thermostat OEM on Amazon and e-bay.

    Thank you,
    Stoner

Bottom line: lots of online dealership options, and I think they mostly access the same database.

OEM can change over time. When I replaced the rear main seal on my wife’s 4 runner (clutch change) the one from the dealer was made in Mexico. I doubt it came from there when it was built.

JC91006 just led me to this inverter coolant pump if that's the pump you're looking for. For a new Toyota OEM the price looks too good to be true.

I just ordered one a couple of hours ago. It should be here next week.

One thing I've noticed, a specific example, on McGeorge Toyota site: if you search for pistons and piston rings for (say) a 2010, it'll show the original part numbers. Problem is, there is a Technical Service Bulletin for excessive oil consumption, and the cure is to use updated parts, that came stock in 2015.

It seems to me if you were looking for pistons/rings for a 2010, getting the 2015 style would be much preferable.

I was in the process of ordering the same one from Amazon when he sent me the link to the Ebay one. fortunately. He's generously offered to do the installation for a very reasonable price as I am not a mechanic. My comfort level working on cars amounts to changing air filters and operating "plug 'n play" things like the Prolong system.

Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have found this site and the great people here.
