2010 Prius. 140k + miles. While driving uphill I always get a burning smell inside car. Driving uphill for about 10 min. Whether aircon is on or off. New to this thread, don't know if this has been discussed. Vehicle is serviced every 5k miles. 0W20
Cannot pinpoint. It just fills the car with the smell. It does however come from ac/heater vents on dash.
How long of an uphill does it take? I've had that smell on previous cars, was pretty certain it was a bit of undercoating that had sprayed onto the exhaust. In normal driving it's ok, but with a protracted hill climb the exhaust gets hot enough to start cooking it off. Maybe.
