The Smart Key System (SKS) is working intermittently. The dash board with Speedometer, and Gas Tank has gone black. Car still boot up and runs. Lights stereo all work.
Bad combo meter and possibly low fob battery. Search around here for the meter fixes if you are the DIY type or contact Matt at @Texas Hybrid Batteries if you want a plug and play replacement . Good luck and keep us posted .
Got in the car to move it around the driveway yesterday. All lights and indicators worked fine. I drove it to work this AM and no problems experienced. I suspect my old Key Fob for at least part of this problem.
Also, I just recently bought a 3rd car for The Better Half and I. I'm thinking it's time to put this girl in the shop. Cept it is still a little close to Christmas.
