The Sun Dogs. Memorable quote by "Bob" ("Al" on married with children): No one in their right mind would watch The Deer Hunter, and want to enlist.
Finished Season 2 of Turkish drama Intersection (on Netflix), Season 3 to go. Very entertaining, business/romance/crime story with comedic moments. You have to suspend disbelief at times, but worth a watch.
Watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly again, last night. A night or two back had watched Sad Hill Unearthed, about GBU fans who restored the cemetery. Also tried to work out on piano one of the soundtrack melodies: The Ecstasy of Gold, kinda fun. Something twigged watching our GBU blue ray (frustrating director's edition, with some odd extra scenes): GBU must be a "prequel", to Fistful of Dollars, and A Few Dollars More. Rabid fans have known this for years I guess, but I finally connected the dots: near the end of the movie Blondie gives his coat to a dying soldier (during American Civil War), and just in the corner of the frame you see this fabric with a familiar pattern. In the next scene he's sporting the trademark poncho.
I watch whatever my wife has on TV, she doesn't share her remote. She watches everything on YouTube anymore a lot of political stuff you don't hear mentioned on lame stream media and a lot of old black and white movies. I have access to Xfinity on my computer but only watch an occasional football game.
Wife swap me? Me and your wife and my gf and you have exactly the same content preferences. Lol . She's always complaining I watch to much YouTube political channels.
I'm joyfully regressing as I get older. I watched the movie "Peter Rabbit" on Netflix, and I liked it. Who say's you can't sneak back under the gates of childhood? I get tired of Forensic Crime Fighting, Murder, and all the supposedly mature plot lines of most adult programming. Give me a wise cracking talking rabbit.
