Ok just replaced all pads...all the way round. Started car and been pumping. No pedal. So whats the secret to abs brakes then? Thanks...
All good. Weird crap... Was goin to floor then clunk. Said screw it. Threw in gear.. little bit in driveway... whey work great...weird. thx for the ear...
And no warning lights? After a test drive, apply/release the parking brake a few times, then raise the rear and check that the wheels spin fairly freely, go a revolution or two after you let go. Always a good check.
Oh and what is weirder is i never noticed pedal is normally this way. Thus i saw no dash lights and said screw it.. lets drive around the development....
Did you replace them because you had to or because you wanted? Also how many miles you have on the car?
Dealership told me 10k miles ago i was at 3mm front and 4mm rear. Caution.. not required. My son drove his trailblazer to the metal so i sid.. lemme knock this out. In 18F weather...
Regardless of pad thickness remaining, you should be getting in every 3 years or 30K miles (Toyota US recommendation), just to clean them up and relube. You done good.
Save them for a decade, before chucking them out, then you'll feel better. No kidding, that what I do, lol.
