Recently while driving...I get sporadic triple beeps with no visual indicator on screen or dashboard. Happens at random times...sometimes fairly close together (5 - 10 seconds between the series of 3 rapid beeps) to longer (minutes). I am totally baffled by it...not the seat beat indicator....or any other normal audio signal. Anyone else ever experience this?
What are the voltages of each battery? Just because they are new doesn’t always mean they are good (some of the fob batteries that are not name brand can be below 3.0 volts and are already mostly discharged out of the package). Is there anything in the passenger seat during these events? Good luck and keep us posted .
Just a wild shot in the dark but could there be something else in the car you're not aware of? A kids toy, maybe? My wife once left one of her electronic gadgets in the car and it started beeping every so often as a warning the rechargeable battery was running low. It sounded like it was coming from the dash. I thought it was the car and it drove me nuts until I finally found it inside one of the glove compartments.
Battery purchased at the dealership and inserted by the service department. 12V battery just checked and it A-OK Nothing on the seat. Thanks.
I looked yeasterday. There were a couple, but they were outside beeps. I don't recall seeing any inside 3-beep warnings.
Any chance that the back end of the car slid a little when you heard the beeps? I know in mine if i go around a corner in snow a little too quick and the back slides it will do 3 quick beeps. You're in San Diego so doubt that snow and sliding is your issue but just a thought.
I agree could still be a VSC. From my experience no VSC light (or any lights) come on when it does the beep so if its miss reading a skid its possible there will be no light.
