Strange thing happened yesterday, had no sound output on the head unit. Tried all the different media, DAB radio FM radio, CD, USB, bluetooth, nothing. Volume buttons had no response and the fader and balance adjustments were greyed out on the screen, it was as if it was muted, but I can't find any mute controls on the unit that I might have accidentally pressed. It was near zero deg C outside, I had just done a short trip of 3 miles to the supermarket and the sound was working. I went and did half an hour shopping and the problem arose on the return trip home. After arriving home I switched off the car and switched it back on again and everything was working and back to normal. Just wondering if anybody has had this occur and was/is it a precursor to a future problem. Could it be something to do with the cold weather ?
Did I read somewhere that you can re-set the entertainment system? I might be thinking of something else - but worth searching for it.
